has over 750 members with over 80 concerts and lectures each year.

International Arts Festival
A mix of theater, music, dance and performances that cross the line into different styles is held
every fall on the grounds of the Ringling Museum of Art. This is a collaboration between the museum and the
New York-based Baryshnikov Arts Center, which provides the artistic direction and selects most of the performers,
groups and shows.

Sarasota's Chalk Festival is the first of its kind in the U.S. attracting International
street artists who dazzle the crowds with three dimensional illusions that pop from the pavement.
This fall street painting event has been held annually since 2007 in downtown Sarasota on South Pineapple Ave.
in the historic area known as Burns Square.

Sarasota Blues & Music Festival
Bring a hat and sunscreen to this fall fest held at Sarasota's Ed Smith Stadium featuring all
day live entertainment, food, drink and crafts.
La Musica - Sarasota
April signals the arrival of outstanding musicians from Europe and the Americas for nearly three
weeks of intense music-making. Rehearsals take place in the Mildred Sainer Pavilion of New College of Florida.
Guest lectures, lectures by the musicians and special events for young people round out the Festival events.
Concerts are performed at the Sarasota Opera House.

Every fall, Sarasota's Bayfront Park unveils newly installed Sculptures from around the world. The
city's permanent piece, "Unconditional Surrender", is popular among Tourists snapping photos of the
