You can begin each morning with a casual stroll on World Famous Crescent Beach, where you will be greeted with the whitest and most powdery sand in the world. The more ambitious might walk to the public beach (Siesta Beach), which has been named "One of the Top Ten Beaches in the World" and "The Best Beach in Florida" where there are lifeguards, concessions, bathroom facilities, volleyball courts and plenty of sun worshipers.

Upon your return, a dip in our heated pool could be a relaxing way to spend the sun-filled morning. Or perhaps a round of golf at one of the numerous courses in the area. Maybe a tennis match or a game of shuffleboard right here at Casa Mar would be your choice. Fishing charters, boat rentals and para-sailing are all available on the island.

Nearby Siesta Village, with its boutiques, specialty shops, pharmacy, grocery and eateries, is a shopper's paradise and a great way to spend an afternoon. Nightlife in the village abounds with many good restaurants and plenty of live entertainment. Additional shopping and dining is scattered around the island.

Cross the bridge to Sarasota's spectacular cultural events for an enjoyable evening of ballet, opera, theatre and more! Dinner, before or after, can be found at some of Florida's most outstanding restaurants.
